5 things to not miss during your festive shopping

Lockdown or no lockdown, pandemic or no pandemic, one thing is certain. The festive season is almost here. You can see the days getting shorter, the air getting cooler, the lights are slowly beginning to come out, and all the fancy clothes are being sent for dry cleaning. It’s time to celebrate, to be thankful for the things we have, to spend time with the people we love and buy little things for ourselves. So, we thought we’d do a little research and suggest a few things you could get yourself this Navratri that’ll raise eyebrows. Here they are, in no specific order.

Here are some top suggestions to brighten up your home and your health.

1. Fairy lights

This is at the top of the list because this is an absolute must have. And we’re not just talking about your balcony. Fairy lights have a beautiful way of setting the mood. So, hang them around, string them up, pair them with cute little photographs and watch your spaces come alive with the soft glow of beautiful light.

2. Crossbeats Smartwatches

This season can be a lot of fun, but if you like entertaining guests, it can also get a little stressful. And you know what can help reduce the stress? Smartwatches from Crossbeats. Pick up the Ace, Trak or even the Ignite. Pair them up simply with your phone and have all your reminders and calls and alerts and notifications coming right to your wrist. It’s super-efficient and you’re going to see your productivity levels shooting through the roof. And to top it all, you can change the watch faces to match the liveliness of the season. 3. Sound bar

You can’t be calling people over and not having your home filled with melodious tunes. Whether it’s ghazals or techno or just some good old sufi, what would really help is a sound bar. And although there are many sound bars in the market now, you should really check out the Fidelio range from Philips. The unique thing about these sound bars is that you can unclip them from both sides, turning them immediately into multiple speakers, capable of delivering a home theatre experience for you and your guests. If you’d like us to recommend a playlist for you, let us know, and we’d be happy to oblige!

4.Crossbeats Torq

Every now and then when you’re the midst of a gathering, you just want to take some time off and be by yourself. Maybe even jump on a call with a close friend. What are you to do? Where are you to go? There’s loud music everywhere, and noise carries. What you do is, you pick up the Torq. Equipped with not 2 mics, but 4, these true wireless earphones can literally transport you into another world completely. Pair them with your phone and take center stage at a music concert. Change tracks simply by speaking to Google or Siri. Finish off your alone time and tuck them discreetly away in the hard-shelled case in your pocket. Time to get back to socializing. 5.Fragrant tea light candles

Who doesn’t like a home that’s beautifully lit with mood lighting? Yup, we’re talking about tea light candles (and we’re sure you have enough of those stocked up at home.) But we’re not just talking about any tea light candles. Nope, the ones we have in mind are scented. And while there are many you can choose from; we highly recommend picking up a brand that goes by the name of Pan Aromas. Try their French Vanilla on a beautiful afternoon, or their lovely lemon grass on a cool evening. Now isn’t that a lovely way to start the festive spirit?
