My Dash Camera gets HOT?
It is normal for your camera to run slightly hot. Because it is
recording video at high speed, the dash cam may be hot during
using. (no more than 158°F/70ºC).
How to setup RoadEye Dashcam DC02?
Front Camera
- Slide the mount into the mount installation slot.
- Turn off the car engine.
- Stick the car mount together with the camera onto your windshield.
- Connect the USB charging cable to the mini-USB port of the dashcam. Run the cable along the edge of the windshield. Tuck away in the seams and extend it all the way to the USB port of the car charger. Be sure to keep it away from the airbag area.
- Adjust the dash cam to keep the lens level with the ground.
- Start the engine to check if the dash cam works properly.
Rear Camera
1. Connect the DC jack to the AV IN port of the front dashcam. When connected properly, the video of the rearcamera is shown PiP (Picture in Picture) wise on the LCDscreen of the front camera

How to connect the Dash Cam with the App?
- Download the KACAM app from the AppStore or Google PlayStore and Install.
- Now go to your phone’s WiFi Setting > then select the “Crossbeats_RoadEye DC02_******”.
(WiFi Name SSID: “Crossbeats_RoadEye DC02_******”,
Password: “12345678”) - Now your phone is connected to dash camera via WiFi.
- Now you just open the KACAM app on your phone and the camera will connect automatically.
- You can Click <<Check Real-time Video>>
- In the App, you can view videos directly from dashcam to your phone, even download them and change setting etc.
How does the Road Eye Dash DC02 Cam record?
RoadEye needs a Micro SD Card to record videos. It automatically records continuously when it is connected with the Source and the same recorded videos can be accessed via the App. Additionally, it also generates certain events based on activity and that can also be accessed via the App.
How will it record new videos once my SD Card gets full?
The Device works on the functionality called FIFO which is First in First Out, Thus the recordings which were saved first will get auto deleted and new recording will take its place.
Does RoadEye dashcam DC02 Comes with inbuilt battery?
Yes, Dashcam has a Built-in battery of 200mAh and this battery backup is provided for the purpose of emergency, If the ignition is turned off due to some issues, the dash cam will record for a few seconds.
How to record the Videos in loop using Roadeye dashcam DC02?
In dashcam, there’s a feature called loop recording. This feature records videos in segments of 1, 2, or 3 minutes, depending on settings. While the recording is continuous, the storage is done in these separate ‘loops’ or segments means dashcam is always recording, but the footage is stored in these small chunks for easier management.
Does car ignition need to be turned ON for the dashcam to work?
Car ignition need to be turned on for the dashcam to work continuously, as the battery backup is provided for the purpose of emergency, If the ignition is turned off due to some issues, the dash cam will record for a few seconds.
How Fatigue warning works on the Roadeye DC02
This feature by default will be off and needs to turned on in settings, which we can set for the Duration of 1 Hour / 2 Hour/ 4 Hours, Once chose a time duration and turn on this function, the dash cam will make sounds to alert.
What to do when the dashcam does not power on with 12v charger port?
If the dashcam does not power on with the 12v car charger port, please plug into the USB port alternatively.
